  1. How long before the exam I must attend?

    You should attend the exam center for half an hour prior to exam.

  2. How long does my exam take?

    The maximum recommended time for theoretical exam is 2 hours. The maximum time allowed for practical exam is as follow “ a) level 1: two hours. b) level 2: three hour. The recommended maximum time allowed for drafting a NDT instruction is 2 hours.
  3. What are the qualification examination requirements?

    The minimum requirements of vision, training and industrial experience are required prior to qualification examination. These requirements are specified at certification procedure.

  4. Am I required to wear a face mask?

    Yes, you must bring and wear your own face mask while you’re at the test center and throughout your exam. A surgical or cloth face mask, including a homemade face mask, is acceptable as long as your nose and mouth are fully covered.
  5. Do I need to bring any IDs card?

    Yes, you must bring proper IDs. e.g. Passport, National ID card, Birth Certificate .
  6. Can I bring my own equipment?

    If you would rather to take your exam with your own equipment, you must inform us at least a week before the exam day and send us equipment features in detail.
  7. How can I ask for reconsideration in my score?

    You can fill out Remark Request Form in your profile at remark icon.
  8. Can I get a refund after rescheduling?

    You are allowed only one opportunity to reschedule your exam at least 5 business day prior to test date.
  9. Can I get a refund after cancelation?

    If you cancel your registration at least 30-day prior to the test date, complete exam cost is refundable, between 30 and 10 days prior to exam date, you will receive a refund equivalent to two-third the original test fee. After that no cost will be refunded.
  10. Visual acuity shall be approved by whom?

    The test of visual acuity can be carried out by employer, optometrist, employer medical team and ophthalmologist considering ISO 9712 requirements as following: a) near vision acuity shall permit reading a minimum of Jaeger number 1 or Times Roman N 4.5 or equivalent letters (having a height of 1,6 mm) at not less than 30 cm with one or both eyes, either corrected or uncorrected; b) colour vision shall be sufficient that the candidate can distinguish and differentiate contrast between the colours or shades of grey used in the NDT method concerned, as specified by the employer
  11. what is technique?

    specific way of utilizing an NDT method is called technique in ISO 9712. For example: Immersion technique in Ultrasonic Testing method.
  12. What is sector?

    NDT practices are divided into particular section of industry or technology in ISO 9712 such as welding, casting, forging and etc.
  13. Are ASNT handbooks included exam contents?

    Any references that include syllabuses of ISO/TS 25107:2019 can be considered as training courses’ reference.
